Made of layers, made slowly

Decapas is a small workshop where every piece is designed, tested and printed without rushing.

What slow printing means

A 3D print is built by stacking very thin layers. How fast each layer is printed changes the result: go fast and the lines show, the edges ripple and the piece gets more brittle.

We slow down and let every layer settle. It takes longer, but the letters come out with crisp edges, smooth surfaces and a much stronger bond between layers.

A workshop, not a farm

We design in Fusion 360 and make everything on a printer with a 250 mm bed. We do not compete on volume: we make few pieces and make them well.

That is why every letter in your order is printed separately and checked before it is packed.
